The second in the "Lettres" series.
This is a continuation of my study of emotion through a series of letter readers. The piece was inspired by my own nervous tick of absentmindedly playing with jewelry while reading or when I am preoccupied. Although she does not look like me, I did the posing for this piece, and that added a layer of complexity and emotional charge while painting.
